First Family Vacation

To celebrate our anniversary, we rented a beach house at our favorite Oregon Coast town, Manzanita. It was our first family vacation! We relaxed in the sun, ate lots of ice cream, and had a wonderful time.

Having a Ball

Anthony tried out the yoga ball during physical therapy this week- he liked it! Look how well he did: Here he is with Mary, his physical therapist. Mary comes to see us twice a month.

Proud of himself, as he should be. We're proud too!

In other exciting news, Anthony is sampling pears this week. We also switched from rice cereal to oatmeal. We're trying one new fruit or vegetable a week. Next up: sweet potatoes...mmmm!

End of Summer Baby Gathering

Anthony invited some pals over yesterday to celebrate the last day of summer.
Zoe, Abby, Anthony, Roman (Ellie came too, but her Mom made her leave early and miss the photo session)

Roman needed a minute to collect himself.

Cute.

Cute.

Cute. And ready for fall.

Why are we inside if it's the last day of summer?!

How 'bout Those Mets

No fair weather fan he, Anthony says, "Let's Go Mets!"
So what if they're TWENTY games behind?

There's always next year.
Plus, it's still fun to watch a game.

The pitching!
The longball!
The hot dogs.
PLAY BALL!!!

The Wonderful World of Rice Cereal

Anthony had his first taste of solid food yesterday- starting with exciting rice cereal! Here's how it went.

It's important to make sure you have the right tools. The spoon is special because it was Paul's when he was a baby! The bowl is special because, well, you can see why it's special. Anthony was ready to go- Bring it on!!!

We thought it might get a little messy, so on with the bib...
A little tentative, but willing to try.
Oops- There was some confusion at first...
What the...?!
What is this @#$%?!
Don't worry, Anthony. There's more to life than rice cereal. We'll keep trying, and then on to fruits and vegetables in a few weeks! Stay tuned.
