Summer's finally arrived here in Portland. We've been lucky- while the rest of the country is baking in over 100-degree heat, it's been in the 80's around here. We've been spending lots of time outside. Friday night we went to a concert in the park with some friends.

Another exciting development: Anthony can now wear SHORTS. Every other summer he had to wear long pants or else his knees would get scraped from all the crawling. It used to bum me out that he had all these cute shorts outfits that he couldn't wear. So yesterday we went to Target and stocked up for the summer. Bring on the heat!
Looks like so much fun! Only in Portland is the grass still green without much watering. But not for long! It'd be great to see you guys if you can make it to Open Arms on Tuesday. If not, then we'll have to find a daytime playdate one of these days until our families can get together.
