Today is Grandma Jeanne's 90th birthday. That's a lot of living!
We celebrated over the weekend with a soiree at Grandma's assisted living residence. We had a little scare that the party might be cancelled due to a norovirus outbreak (because retirement homes are just like cruise ships), but everything turned out okay in the end. Friends and relatives (and some random strangers) joined us to mark the big day, and a good time was had by all.
Live music was provided by the crooner Dee Smith, a favorite of Jeanne's.
