Vaux's Swifts
Every September, the Vaux's Swifts roost in the chimney of the Chapman Elementary School in NW Portland. It's quite a sight to see when they all come together every evening to roost in the chimney for the night! We had a picnic and watched the show along with hundreds of other bird lovers last night.
